Hello all,
I'm somewhat new to the forums and would like to make my introduction. If I remember correctly I joined the forums some time in 2002 some time after my back injury. At the time I was seeing a chiropractor who encouraged me to start some light resistance workouts. Things began well but eventually my condition worsened after my visits to the chiropractor ceased due to reasons that were out of my control. I also became unable to work out with the worsening of m back condition and a failed disc decompression surgery.
Anyhow, fast forward several years and I'm back and more determined than ever to give it one more shot before I under the knife. I've exhausted all the non-surgical treatment modalities and I'm finally going to do something my way. It might not be the smartest thing in some people's mind but I know my body and it is my life damnit!
So I have been coming to this board looking for advice with dieting, supplements and training. I'll also try to share my experiences with this endeavor through a blog (E z e k i 3 l ’s blog) with others who might be in a similar situation (back injury).
Thanks for having me.
