"The Wrestler" Actor Arrested on Federal Charges After Car Chase Actor Scott Siegel

I don't think anything of this guy, never even knew of him before this arrest, I don't care, nor was I ever defending him specifically. I was simply pointing out another example of our government wasting resources on busting steroid dealers, that is all.

Lets ban all these mother lovers.

Everyone has a legitimate point of view. This board is starting to remind me of Elite. Lets be more tactful and constructive with our conversations. I love you all.

Genetic Engineering: manipulation of gender and eye color I have first hand knowledge of. Only God knows what kind of freaks the government has growing. Those sheep came around about 25 years too late.

The genetic engineering thing.

I know that it is possible to manipulate a child's gender and eye color before "it" is born. GENETIC ENGINEERING. point being there is no telling what they can manipulate at this point in science.

I was referring to your idea that steroids will be obsolete at some point in time Prince.

As for the rest of it: Use your imagination.

Yeah but as soon as they find a way the Fed's will make it illegal just because without any unbiased Gov. Grant supported research we will never get a break, the only drugs available to us are substances large pharm co's can dump loads of bribes to get it pushed through. I am so sick of this gov. bullshit War on Biochemistry, these old fuckers will allow a blue diamond on the market that can blur your vision, make your dick turn purple or cause a heart attack just so they can get a hard-on with their mistress but they won't allow chemist's like Alexander Shulgin to experiment and find safer alternatives to drugs they claim are "bad" yet only allow research funded by themselves. Those researchers aren't going to make findings that go against what the Gov. wants in fear of losing future grant money.....

Look at these Anti-Depressant drugs doctors give out like candy even if all you have is the blues, some of them can cause more problems with serotonin than MDMA, Psilocybin or LSD.....

add the cost of the war on drugs to the cost of keeping these people in prison. success?

Come on guys, think about this. Did the prohibition stop alcohol? Fuck now. It glamorized alcohol, spawned criminal organizations, made a black market for a product, wasted money, caused dangerous home brewed alcohols to pop up all over the place. Many people died from tainted homemade alcohol.

The same is true for illegal drugs. Is alcohol a problem today? Not to most people. It is legal and socially acceptable in 95% of the country. Well the same would be true for steroids and some illegal drugs if the government would stop their futile war against something they can't beat.

Oh, and if I were in the position of going to jail for the duration of the prime of my life, I would have done the same thing. I would never intentional try to hurt someone to get away, but I would plow right through a police car to get away.

K, I agree with you for the most part. The issue that I have with this guy is he was never under the radar. He was busted before. Made a movie that basically glamorized his illegal acts (which made him even more of a target) and then kept making the same retarded moves. What does he expect?

So he put himself in this position by doing the above things. Then he is going to endanger others with a high speed chase that could've hurt innocent people let alone law enforcement. The dude is a tard.

I would expect you're intelligence would prevent you from making the same blatantly retarded moves.

Though I have no sympathy for the schmuck, I would do the same thing you describe.

The tapes of Nixon show just how ignorant and petty that hateful old fuck was, I would like to see his name removed from out list of presidents the man was the epitomy of all that I despise in the conservative mind set.......

[FONT=Arial, Arial, Helvetica]"Kevin Zeese, the President of Common Sense for Drug Policy (Common Sense for Drug Policy), wrote a chilling note recently, presenting the political side of the marijuana health issue. Tapes have recently been released of President Nixon's discussions in the Oval Office during the 1970-1971 period. Congress was uncertain of the appropriateness of placing marijuana in Schedule I in the new Controlled Substances Act, and thus created a commission to research the subject and recommend a long-term strategy. Nixon did most of the appointing of the members, with Raymond Schafer being the Chairman (it became known as the Schafer Commission) and nine others. Most were pretty much law-and-order people and bigwigs from a law school here and a mental health hospital there. Four members of Congress served on it as well.
This Schafer Commission was officially known as the National Commission on Marijuana and Drug Abuse, and it took its job seriously. They launched fifty research projects and polled members of the criminal justice community. After reviewing all the evidence the commission came to an unexpected conclusion, unexpected to them, at least. Rather than harshly condemning marijuana, they started talking about removing it from the Federal drug law. Nixon heard about this, some months before the report was to be publicly released. He warned Schafer to get control of the Commission, and from the tapes one hears that they must avoid looking like a "bunch of do-gooders," who are "soft on marijuana."
Nonetheless, the Commission recommended the decriminalization or non-profit transfer of marijuana. No punishment -- criminal or civil -- under State or Federal law. The day before the Commission released its report, the tapes show that Nixon had a different opinion. "We need, and I use the word 'all out war,' on all fronts ... we have to attack on all fronts." Aiming towards the 1972 presidential election year, Nixon proposed that he do "a drug thing every week" that would make a "Goddamn strong statement about marijuana ... that just tears the ass out of them." These tapes are at Common Sense for Drug Policy.

[FONT=Arial, Arial, Helvetica] I am sure that this report might well address some of the questions that you have asked. Unfortunately, those experiments that can document the quality of learning or of memory, with or without marijuana use, are virtually undoable. Looking at people I know, I can see no suggestion that those who are users are in a mental class distinct from those who are not users. A precious example of the political anti-marijuana mind-set can be had from the answer from John Lawn, the former head of the DEA, at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, February 1986.
Question: "What's wrong with legalizing marijuana?"
Answer: "I think that if we decide upon legalization, we can forget democracy as we now know it. In experiment animals mutations in the brain caused by marijuana is (sic) found not only in the user or the user's offspring, but in the offspring's offspring. The dangers associated with cannabis are different than those associated with alcohol. Marijuana is fat-soluble and one third of the brain is fat."
