So today in the locker room....
I was all sweaty and nasty putting stuff in my bag and this lady comes next to me, flipping her hair, all fresh, makeup, black skirt, sweater, boots with a collared shirt. Obviously going back to work. I had never seen her before. I look over at her and said "You look really cute". She looked at me kinda weird, whispers something and goes back to the locker. So I finish up and walk out, by the time I got to the stairs I thought of the worst of what she could have thought.
I had on nasty sweats and a pony tail, not that it matters but I sort of looked unfeminine. I turned around went back to the locker room, she was walking out and I was like "I'm not a dike or anything". She smiles and says its fine and I said "not that I should even say the word dike. Well have a good day"
If a person looks nice, I have no problem telling them. A person is usually appreciative. Usually its no problem, but her reaction was a little strange dontcha think?
