A lot of tricep isolation exercises place an in-ordinate amount of pressure on the elbow joint. Things like Tri extensions and skullcrushers are the worst for this.

Depending on how much tricep isolation/general pressing you do in your program you could just be giving the elbow joint too much grief.

Might be worth laying off isolations for the tris for a while.

Do you warm up at all before training?

Do you take a joint supp?

I agree with Gaz. Makes sense for the most part to take a break on a movement if it hurts.

Give it a week or 2 to heal then try again.
