Hey guys! Chest exercises...

I'm looking to add some new variety to my workout routines.

What are your favorite chest exercises for lower chest development?

Thanks a lot!

You can activate the chest from various angles, but it is ultimately one muscle. It'll grow how your genetics allow it.

That said, the barbell and dumbell bench presses as well as flyes are pretty fun.

Dumbell and Barbell bench in the same program definitely works, i've found.

"Ghetto Westside" dumbbell band press - a trick I learned from HeavyBomber: String a stretchy-band (yes, one of those thin rubber hose things the ladies use in toning class at the rec centre) under the base of the bench you're using for dumbbell press - hold the ends in your hands with the dumbbells you're going to press; completely changes the dynamic of the movement.

**very helpful for those with RC problems, as the weight is at its lightest at the bottom of the lift.

Wondering where to start? Confused? This will get you started.
