Pull-ups with V-Bar Handle
I've seen people doing pull-ups with v-bar handles (the rowing attachment used in close-grip barbell rows) placed over top of the bar. How does this change the traditional pull-up?

I'm surprised no one has replied yet, considering this is regarding pull ups.
Training the mind is equally, if not more, important than training the body. If you can learn to transcend natural limitations, and force your mind into your muscle, your strength will know no bounds.

its funny that this thread went unnoticed
doing this moves your grip in quite a bit (narrower) it neutralizes your grip (palms facing each other) i would suspect you would use far more bicep, than pronated grip, and virtually no rear deltoids as apposed to pronated grip should focus mainly on lats, and biceps (as with any pullup) while eliminating alot of rear deltoid action

Easier on the RC, too. I love those, alternating your head side to side, those ones right? Very comfortable grip for me.
Wondering where to start? Confused? This will get you started.
