routine on cut

is it necessary to switch exercises up when on a cut? during a cut, your not looking for gains, so is it acceptable to do the same workout every week? but still trying to get stronger

Unless you are following a specialised program for dieting such as UD2.0 which combines training and diet (for reasons i won't go into) u should treat your training separately from dieting

Therefore follow the same protocol as you would normally , train hard and heavy, always look to progress, change up the stimulus - don't let things go stale . Switch your exercises, number of exercises ,rest periods, rep ranges ,number of sets etc..

This is an excellent article ,great example of how to effectively change your workouts week-to-week.

Hope this helped RC

i've always switched things up about every six weeks. right now im doing your 4 day split, horizontal push/ pull, quads, vertical push/ pull, and hams. im just curious about this, cuz i enjoy everything im doing right now and wouldnt mind staying with it during my cut, unless of course i got bored with it.

I use it to cut, too actually.

Read How to do cardio if you MUST and you'll see it worked into a cutting paradigm.
