Basic home gym substitutes
Well I'm at university and atm my student loan hasn't come in and I'm running on a basic £20 a week budget. Basic.
Now I haven't been to the gym for over a 6-7 weeks and I'm feeling myself turning into a vegetable and I need to start working out even though I have no protein shakes. I was wondering if there was any good home workouts that I could do that don't involve any weights. I just need a good workout that works the whole body, I need maybe 1 exercise per muscle group for now just to maintain what I got. So far I can only do Pushups that I can think of.

calisthenics would be better than nothing. When you get some money buy some bands to increase resistance on your basic push/pull movements.

Okay yea that sounds about what I was thinking of, and I'll look into the bands as well see if I can spare some money here n there for it.
Is HIIT really good enough for a leg workout? I can't think of anything except lunges I could do atm with some "home-made" weights lol.

Use anything for weights. Do weighted push ups and sit ups with a backpack filled with your school books. Go outside to the curb and do calf raises. put your car in neutral and push it down the block(okay maybe not this one, but you get the idea, you have to want it)
