    Training On Accutane?

Hello, I've been using this forum for quite some time and have found all kinds of usefull information. I finaly decided to post because I haven't seen any similar threads. I'm wondering if anyone has trained while using accutane. For those who aren't familiar with the drug accutane is used to prevent acne. The drug is taken for, 4-6 months. All help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Go for it. Keep in mind that accutane is known to cause all kinds of aches, so make sure that it doesn't affect your form. Drop weight if needed.

I guess I'm lucky in that the absolute worst side effect I had was badly chapped lips.

I took accutane for acne about 8 years ago. I had bad acne on my back and legs and moderate on my face. I didn't notice any side except for MAJORLY chapped lips...during the summer too. It totally cured my acne and it hasn't been back since.

Thanks for your help. Good to hear, except the chapped lips but I think that is unavoidable lol.

Take my advice, start using chapstick now. Don't wait for it to get bad. I made that mistake. It will still be pretty rough, but much more bearable if you consistently use chapstick before it starts happening.

Sorry to get off track, but did anyone get permanent light sensitivity? I took it a few years back and still can't go outside without sunglasses.

    ...

I was on this drug for years as a teenager.... probably for too long!!! It definitely did not affect my training in any negative way. It is mostly just a large dose of vitamin A... that is why the blood tests are often required and why females are shot down when they ask to try it 99% of the time (especially if they are young and can become pregnant).
