Rest is your best friend right now.
Get plenty of sleep.
Do not train that area.
See a Doctor if you can.
Increase protein.
Avoid alcohol.
last nite at the gym i hurt my front shoulder muscle doing dumbell incline press (had no lift to get the weight up). question is should i be stretching or rotating my shoulder or just leave it alonee. I want it to heal fast and properly. Also should i eat or take any supplements to speed the recovery up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
mike
btw the title should should have been should injury should i still workout?
Yep, 'rest it' gets my vote.
Rest, Ibuprofen, and heat.
Don't work out the affected area. Give it 2 weeks and if it still persists, then you need to go to a Dr., probably an Ortho.
Good luck.

I would pass on the "Vitamin I" - NSAIDS interfere with tissue remodeling and can leave you more prone to re-injury.
