    Everything works, nothing works forever!

Have used most on that list, but my favourite is HIT. Wouldnt (and dont) use it all the time or in any way exclusively though.

    I will use 8x2, 5x5 then 2x8 for a bodypart.
Not sure what the name is, got it from CS Sloan.

I vary the volume, interset interval, set number, reps, everything, although I never do HIT only, because frankly it's not enough work. For me, i'd have to be pretty lazy to do one working set per bodypart. It's just not enough.

Regardless of whatever style you use, you should constantly switch it up every couple months.
    Personally i do a chest/tricep, legs/shoulder, back/bicep split.
But i change around volume and weight.
Some sets very heavy low reps, some higher reps with lower weight.

As long as your working out your body equally with strong intensity you will make progress(assuming diet is in check)

As long as your progressively overloading your muscles, you shouldn't have to make major overhauls to your routine. I always rotate exercises and rep ranges to a degree, but I stick with volume training and a 5 day bodypart split. Just my oppinion and I'm sure I'll get ripped for it.

I am thinking about trying low intensity Volume training, I did it in the past and if felt safer and kinder to my joints.

I have been doing incline DB fly/press for the last 3 months and only use 60-70lbs, 12-15 reps super slow and I think I am making better gains then when I was blasting away with twice that weight. I sure as hell feel it more in the muscle, plus it does not cause any joint pain.

whats with all these old dudes using such heavy dbs on flyes....i almost never do em now cause i think about dbowden using so much more weight than me

i like doing flyes to failure(or close) and then going straight into presses sometimes

For me it's not really a fly, just a press that is a bit wider. I usually only do a fly movement the first 2-3 reps then it becomes more of a press, so not a true fly.

Made my best gains doing DC, followed the program to a T. Got bigger, stronger and had less joint pain. Also liked the fact that only training 3 days a week gave me plenty of time to recover.

Generally speaking, low volume, heavy weights.

    Started with rippetoe

    Now I do Mon= legs Tues= chest, bi's thurs = tri, shoulder fri= back

I switch between heavy high volume, and lighter weight high volume. I always do the basics Inc Bench, squats, deads, rows. The rest I switch around to keep from getting bored. During the winter months I add in alot of drop sets, but in the summer it's just to muich with all the work I do outside in the heat.

Mixing it up using undulating periodization geared toward strength and power. I'm not out to get huge being I'm already at 240ish but to be strong for my size.

My training varies from day to day. I can honestly say ive never done the sme workout one week to the next. Ive gone from heavy singles to 100for 100. Meaning 100lbs on an compound for 100 reps. Going to failure but not laeaving the excercise until the reps are finished. Its grueling but amazing for busting plateus.
