That was a great 4-man bench press.
That was a great 4-man bench press.
His setup was hilarious. Great stuff
The title of the video suggests he set a record. It must be for "longest useless meditation preceding failure".

Why all the hate? I thought that was a great lift.
Takes a lot of strength to upright row 600lbs.

Damn, why did I think of that. Just get big spotters and load the bar up. Bring on the 100lb plates!

it doesn't really look like the spotters are lifting it.

All jokes aside, I would think a record bench would include the eccentric, lol....
There's another vid on youtube of a supposed "record bench" where the dude is so massive (looks more like an old-school power lifter than bodybuilder) that his ROM is about half a foot. I don't know..it's impressive with all the weight, but when you factor spotters, tempo, ROM, and just the overall quality of the lift, what are we really looking at?
I think it's funny how so many people post videos of themselves online doing huge lifts, for no practical training purposes whatsoever (like checking if their form is correct). They just want to hear random youtube users comment with "dude, ur stacked!! nice!". What impresses me is intense, smart, consistent training that yields balanced, REAL results...and 1-rep maxes that are actually 1-rep maxes!.....not 1/4 maxes...
Seriously![]()
I bet his spotters got a great traps workout.
that's good money right there.
Sometimes the truth can rape your entire belief system.

that was hilarious..

Who said bodybuilding wasn't a team effort!
Thats the best 4 man bench press i've ever seen! lol
