    Best time to buy equipment?

I am going to buy a new bench and squat rack, think New Year's will be the best time to buy? I figure everything will be on sale because so many people make resolutions to get in shape, but i've never actually bought during this time so i'm not positive.

I'm always looking on Craigslist for used equipment. Just keep looking everyday and you will find what you are looking for.

I hear ya, but the problem is that I donated my last bench/squat rack to my little brother, so I can't be to patient. I went out yesterday looking to buy but nothing was really marked down. I was thinking that after New Year's things will be cheaper and it's only a week away so that's not to long of a wait. Either way I have to buy one soon. I just wondering if it's worth even waiting a week for New Year's, instead of buying it today.

End of January or February. Give the resolutioners a month to realize that they don't have the drive to actually do it.

No gym for home, work out floor with 30, but is it for 20 like 30 lb when you no lift it to be for men, for 30 lbs instead? or half is 10 for 20 pounds?

Well if money is not an issue then buy new. As for prices I would say anytime after Christmas is a good time to buy. Keep checking Craigslist. I always see squat racks and benches on there.

    Thamks for the responses.
I'm gonna keep checking Craigslist, ebay, stores ect... for the next week, and hope for a good deal. Praying I can find a good affordable smith machine, that would be awsome, but i'm betting the more basic stuff will be on sale.

I think on labor day most of the stuff like hardware are really cheap.
