Looking to put together a new routine, could use some help

I've been reading the articles by Lyle McDonald and the site, as well as numerous other Forum links and hoping to get some help putting together a new routine. Currently, I do the following:
    Chest/Bi's
    Shoulders/Calfs
    Back/Tri's
    Off
    Legs
    Off
    Off

I've been doing reading via Mr. McDonalds articles and trying to better understand Strenth Training, Intensive Training and Extensive Trainings cycles. Looking for some help from others with more knowledge and experience to help me put this into a new routine. He speaks of putting certain exercises into Intensive/Extensive training while others are put into Maintenence mode and alternating.

What I would like is some help matching exercises, reps, tempos, ect into a new routine. From what I have read, most feel muscle growth and size come from an Upper/Lower split, but how should I break this down?

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. I have never used any program.

A typical Leg workout would be: Total about 20 - 22 sets

    Squats
    Leg Press
    Leg Curls or SLDT
Extensions (both legs and single leg)
Seated Calf and then in Smith Rack off a box
