30-90 seconds usually. Some sets i need a little more time, others i can change the plates at go at it again.

It depends what I am going, it ranges a lot.
However, I can't remember the last time I'd rest more than 3 minutes. That would be for very high intensity strength lifts.


I say get it while the gettin's good. 30 seconds is the target, or I allow a little longer if I feel severely depleted....with the exception of leg day, during which it takes a minute or two to un-cramp, lol. Now, as for those posers in the gym that take an hour to do three sets......breathe and move, brother!![]()
