Anyone got a template of their workout recording sheet?

On an excel document or something? I need a better layout for tracking my workouts, could anyone help me here?

Not sure if mine would suit your needs or workout but I have one. Not sure how to get it to you though. Also, I am pretty savy at excel, so if you break down your program I can put one together for you if mine does not work.

I just use a little notebook. I never liked the idea of templates; there won't necessarily be enough room to record everything properly. Might as well keep it simple.

I have a set for doing Chad Waterbury's Hugh in a Hurry. You can modify it to suit your needs.

    A couple of notes:

The formula that I use to measure intensity is crap, but it's worked well enough for me. If anyone has a better formula, feel free to post it in this thread.

The number to the right of the exercises on the specific pages is the number of sets. So, just put the number of sets you did there and the spreadsheet will use my craptastic formula to measure intensity and display it, and the number of sets, on the summary page.

I hope this helps: Workout_Log_-_HiaH_-_Get_Big_-_Phase_1.xls - download now for free. File sharing. Software file sharing. Free file hosting. File upload. FileFactory.com

I upload my spreadsheets to Google Docs and use them there. You might want to give that a shot, too.

That's a good one DOMS. Will take a bit of getting used to the layout but it's good that it does the calculations for me on the summary page.

Only problem is that I do 5 exercises/day and i dont know how to configure it over the whole spreadsheet to add one more exercise and have it calculate for me

It's not that difficult. Give me a bit.

I usually just use a book now, but this one is a great one and i used it for a long time. Its also pretty good when you train other people, because you can easily see week-to-week improvements.
