I think you're talking about obliques.

Yeah it sounds like your obliques to me to, hows your body fat though? You may have to lower it more if you want to really bring out the definition.

first of all you need to be lean, secondly having that "line" is partly genetic.

Gotta be lean no doubt, it's funny how big a role genetics plays in what muscle group stands out for some and what doesn't for others, i know guys who spend hours on bodyparts i need only worry about once a week and the reverse of that i spend hours on bodyparts they need do only once a week.

A new exercise I just started doing in my ab routine is the Reverse Crunch. And boy, does it ever hit the obliques.

Lie in the crunch position with your knees bent, but instead of raising your shoulders, raise your knees until your thighs are 90 degrees from the floor.

Now hold it their for a few seconds, and then lower your legs, but don't let your feet touch the floor. Hold and repeat.

Slow methodic and controlled movements, and you should feel the burn.

(Or maybe it's just 'cause I'm fat!)
Those who trumpet their sufferings are most deserving of misery.
