    thinking

ive been wondering on this subject .women who have a couple of kids ,it seems harder for them to drop the wieght.especially in the stomach area.i know one that worksout and diets and cant get their stomach to go down.and her stomach is bigger than the rest of her body.she kinda looks like she's still pregnant.she ask me all the time, what type of workout, she should be doing.but i dont know what to tell her.i,d like to learn what type of workout, she should be doing.so i can tell her, and maybe i can help or give the right advice to others.

She should be doing the same thing as anyone else looking to lose fat. The fat you gain during pregnancy is not magical fat which is stored differently, sorry to say.

If you know someone that says they workout and diet, and they aren't seeing results, then they probably suck at it like most people do. Everyone I have encountered who didn't offer up specifics and suggested that they exercise and/or eat well were wasting their time. Upon further probing I generally discover that their "exercise" routine isn't sufficient to burn a calorie in the midst of Hellfire and their "diet" is about as good as a fat drunken trucker's.

i'd recommend she stop snacking. that's what keeps my girl fat. she never listens, maybe she's hiding food in her ears.

I'm not trying to be cold. What I'm trying to say is that you need to get more information than, "I diet and exercise, but it doesn't work!" People are notoriously unreliable when they are not familiar with the subject they are talking about.

She's simply gonna have to go on a cut and stick to it. And track and make sure she's not doing what 99% of the population thinks you should do which is cut fat down as low as possible and cut carbs low and eat some kind of bar as a meal get on the tread mill for an hour and come in at 500 calories net at the end of the day.

Women tend to carry weight more around the stomach area. Also genetics plays an important role in this also. Women also carry more BF then men. The best thing she can do is exercise and diet. Have her track her calories.

The general population's definition of hard work is usually vastly lower than what it should be in my opinion. Im not saying come in and work till you puke, but a lot of the general population in my gym barely break a sweat.

A colleague trained a guy the other week, and said halfway through a set of chest press he just stopped and said, quite calmly, "oh, i can't do anymore". Wasn't even breathing hard, wasn't sweating, and had performed those 5 reps like there was no weight on the machine.

The trainer encouraged him to to keep going and the guy immediately did another EIGHT REPS and STILL looked fine. Left to his own devices, this guy would have gotten nowhere, and i see them all the time.

As well as the huge amount of mis-information about diet and training, i think this sort of stuff is a huge reason why a lot of people don't see the results they want. They just underestimate exactly what constitutes a workout.

Contrastly, breaking a sweat doesn't imply you're getting a good enough workout either. My dad breaks a sweat going down to the end of the driveway to get the newspaper.
Allot of people can relate too, that pain or discomfort doesn't nessesarilly equate to muscle fatigue. Squats being the perfect example. after 5 reps, it hurts but almost anyone can do 10 reps before sweating and most can push that to 20 if they had to.

I know not everybody experiences the same things when working hard, the only time i really sweat is during explosive movements, but you'd expect to see SOME signs of exertion in somebody exercising. Sometimes i can't tell whether they've just got to the gym or if they're leaving when they come up to the desk.

    It's a very simple formula.

Work out right, eat right and you'll look the way you want to look.

This girl you speak of is either not working out the way she should to meet her goals, not eating the way she should to meet her goals or both.

It's black and white, there is no gray area.

I'm an ass guy and really don't care all that much about a little pudge on the stomach if it means that ass is Kim Kardashian esque, but it's hard for me to be attracted to a girl without a coffee table for an ass that's pudgey who complains about her weight because it's a blatant product of laziness.
