In most cases, the mention of Tony Little would result in a myriad of sneers and laughter..(and might happen here, lol) ....However, he designed his 80's style workout because he had a serious back injury. I never got into the majority of his hype, but there were a few alternatives to crunches, etc. that were lower impact on the back.

I'm sure P-funk and the gang could come up with some reasonable exercises for you...stick around.

Ab toning belts and ab exercises will do nothing to the fat around your midsection. At all. If your back is too bad for you to do weights or any tough aerobic training, you're gonna need to really manage your diet well in order to lose weight but its definitely possible. Even with exercise, abs are made in the kitchen.

That said, physical activity is a great thing, so if you cant train in the gym or run, how about walking or swimming? Do those things also aggravate your back?

Exercise and good diet will get rid of fat. Ab belts, magic pills, exercises, or gimmicks will not.
