    Questions of Texas Method

Anyone have any experience with the Texas Method?
I was looking to change up my routine and thought it looked interesting.
Since I already include periodization with some 5x5 work in my routine my only concern is the volume seems a bit low in the template I saw.

I wrote an article on the texas method on my website (see signature) if you want to take a look.

The texas method is an interesting way of periodizing your training, and it works incredibly well for strength gains especially BECAUSE the volume is so low on two of the three days.

Use that extra energy to move more weight on the heavy day.

Thanks dude. Your website is were I initially got the idea of trying that program. I also found a few other write ups that were slightly different but kept to the same principal. I am going to start a cycle of 1-T from PP and with PCT it will be a total of 10 weeks. I was planning on doing the Texas Method for those 10 weeks but I'm wondering if the Wed and Friday workouts are not taxing enough to make the most of the 1-T cycle. I say that being naive as I have never done a program like Texas before. I put together a rough draft of a 10 week program (see attached). Could you take a look and let me know your thoughts. I have a lot of lifts on Monday so volume is higher than typical but with the 1-T I was thinking it may be warranted.
