I've bulked up 30 pounds, I'm at 197 right now. I've had considerable strength increases as well. I've been working a Horizontal, Vertical, routine for the past month and a half. It includes two days of leg work as well, a day of chest and back, and a day of Back and shoulder. I still have my six pack abs, but have a slight amount of extra fat around my stomach. Should I change my workout from bulk to fat loss? If I do change it will I lose some of my muscle mass? I know I will have to change my diet as well, proabably cutting some carbs if i want to lose fat.
It depends on what your routine looked like before.
Typically, from what I've learned around here, when on a cut diet is 80% of the feat. The other 20% is consistency, routine, rest, etc...
As for the routine, again from what I've learned around here, drop the volume and increase the intensity, i.e. lift heavy, short, and sweet workouts. Lifting heavy helps preserve the muscle you already have, the diet will take care of the rest.
