If you can't increase the weight and keep good form, don't increase it. Good form is more important.

Personally, I think a month is way to short, I generally go with 3 months. As far as constantly moving up weight week in week out forever, not going to happen, regardless of your routine. Basically, as you progress to heavier and heavier weights, gains will become slower regardless of your routine. That said, periodically changes your routine can keep you from completely plateauing out. My advice, stick with your current routine for 6 weeks, and then evaluate it. Make any adjustments you believe are necessary at that point such as adding/removing exercises. After another 6 weeks then go shopping for another routine. There's alot of different training routines that are effective, but in the end I found that consistently training hard, dedication to a good diet, and patience are by far the most important aspects.

    OK thanks.
could i also hit certain muscles directly by adding exercises that do just that like shrugs bicep curls triceps (skull crushers etc) raises for shoulders and so on as the routine I'm on now doesn't do so? or is this routine hitting those muscles hard enough anyway?

I would give it six weeks and then decide if you need any of those exercises.

Eh, I'd have to say it all starts with the diet. That's what I've learned from both personal experience and from here. I mean I used to workout just as hard as I do now but my diet was shit and I got a little bit stronger but not more define or anything. Now with a good diet I've gotten a lot stronger and more defined.

Diet is the key, but make sure you still get a good workout.
