Newbie to forum but need advice, can you help?

I'm 37 and after more than 7 years out of the gym I've decided to return.

I was thinking of trying a 3 day split (push/pull) workout and 3 days of cardiovascular exercise.

I'd like to work my legs on the last day of the 3 day split as I am a keen runner and I'd like to be able to use them(my legs) in order to run during the week.

I was wondering if you guys could suggest to me a good workout plan.

    KInd regards Priapic

Check out the link in my signature. Cowpimp has some great suggestions on putting together a split routine.
