I passed it many years ago, but I did think this exam was pretty easy. I'm sure some things have changed, but I'd look into getting your own study materials before shelling out that kind of money. Seems a bit excessive to me. NASM is the standard for many of the bigger chains, like Gold's and World Gym, along with Bally's and 24 hour fitness.
