    Static Hold Training

How often do you guys incorporate this in your training routines (if at all)? I'm currently performing static holds @ 25% above my 1RM at the end of Maximum Effort Day (core lifts only), about everyother week. Is 25% above my 1RM enough or should I add more? THX

I don't do static holds but my training partner does when she's prepping for powerlifting meets. She'll keep bumping weight up for static holds until she can only hold them for 10 or 15 seconds up to about 30 seconds.

It seems to be utilized more by power lifters.
