Post I'm Going To Be HUGE!!

Okay, I've recently come off a very long vacation from lifting (about 2 years now, tough school schedule, job, etc.). A very nice club moved into town, Lifetime Fitness, and I've had the pleasure of joining.

Now, back in the day, I was ran cross country and was very defined. I could out do everyone in my highschool in endurance training. Yada Yada Yada.

So, since graduating, I've put on about 10 pounds, not from beer (alcohol sucks ass), but from frequent late night visits to Wendy's (triple cheeseburger meal, it's heavenly). I'm about 150, and just want to rid myself of the little excess flub I now have. It hurts me to have this considering I've spent the vast majority of my life in excellent physical condition. What can I do?

I'm doing lifting, and cardio. A nice amount. Normally spend about 2 hours at the gym. I would assume this would be the easiest way to rid myself of this new found addition, and also get myself back in tip-top shape.

    Anyone see another way?

The best wokrout to stimulate muscle growth from a new beginning and muscle memory is the 10 week size surge. You can find this at http://www.home-gym.com. ive gained 20 lbs of muscle in a month (you probably think im a liar but its true) so if you really wanted to make some gains you might consider this routine and diet and give it a chance. Best of luck to ya!!

The lifting and cardio is a great start! But just remember your diet is the key to ridding yourself of the extra fat.

    Hey Pianomahnn,
good to hear your trying to get back into being fit.
Like Prince said, loosing the fat is all about your diet. Learn about it and you'll loose the weight faster and gain lean muscle instead of loosing it.

    Good luck.

Ummmm, don't mean to be a prick but you could loose the weight without any cardio if you have a proper diet.

Cardio will burn the fat but if your diet is bad, you'll probably loose muscle as well.

LEARN PROPER DIET FIRST, then do the cardio.
