    Flex between sets?

i have read in a few places that flexing between your sets can help to build muscle. I guess by getting blood to the muscles?? I really dont know why or what this would do, i was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this or does it.

I don't think it'll help to build muscle but it will get blood flowing through the muscle which helps in recovery.
    Cool

By flexing and then stretching after your sets, you'll allow more muscle growth to occur by breaking apart the tough, sheath-like fascial tissue that binds your muscles. - Ron Harris
I do it once in awhile, usually when I work-out alone in my basement.

so what do uo think, is it worth it? Like sitting there in the middle of the gym making faces into the mirror while you try to make your pecs pop? While those other hot chicks are just rolling their eyes at you? hahahaha i bet Scotty does this!

Honestly who cares if you look stupid doing it? Gains are gains, and when you add a ton of size maybe they'll start wondering why they themselves aren't doing it. I'm gonna do it now on, see what happens :P

Before a contest or when cutting, flexing between sets can make your muscles look harder. When trying to ADD muscle I recommend STRETCHING rather than flexing between sets.
