There's no point in training with someone if they're not after the same thing you are. Otherwise, they'll just hold you back.

The amount of training partners i have gone through over the years that quit on me after the summer ended, or found something better to do, or a chick came on the scene, blah blah, life got in the way!
the best training partners i find nowadays congregate on these forums, maybe its us that are the rare breed!

Was a rare thing recently.
I was training for mass, training partner was cutting. We decided to do an Ellington Darden H.I.T. program - 10 sets, fullbody, 30 mins, 3/x/4/x tempo, twice a week.
The only differences being calorie intake, and he did 30 mins cardio after each weights session. We both did an extra non-HIT weights session a week, and he did 30 mins cardio after that too.
We both reached our goals - i got bigger, he got ripped. We both got stronger.
Was a good 6 weeks! Think we're doing another program together in a month or two.
