    deads with hex vs barbell??

did deadlifts today for the first time with hex bar. i have tried to be a technique and form fanatic when lifting. for me the hex bar seemed to move the center of gravity of the lift back allowing me to get ass lower. comments?

i used to use the hex bar, however it felt more like doing a squat that you have to hold on to. i feel the traditional deadlift hits my back and hams 10x better, but thats just me.

Nova. I think you are right. The more I think of the plane of motion and where the weight is I think it is more quad emphasis. Still like it though. I think I will add rather than switch.
