This version eliminates some leg and hip recruitment and forces the back to do more work. AWESOME for mass!
That's how i been doin em
Except our tight arse gym has car stands I start on those and the bottom part of my rep is just below the knees. Is that cool or is it advantageous to stop at the bottom of the lift?
Did 220kg (484lbs) for two reps today

Really, really!! The biggest prob with em is when you've finished your set you gotta dump the bastard on the ground and then lift the barbell back on the stands. When your at failure it's a bit hard to put 200kg on 2 x 2" squares !!

When I say to stop at the bottom I am eliminating any momentum from a "bounce" off the pins. The bounce takes much away from the lift.

How did they preform the Dead in the exhibition Peetrips?

Was if right off the floor or did they start from the pins, lower to the floor and back up?

Cool

They just did a single lift straight off the floor. They did a second one about 1 minute later. The little lady was impressive she didn't look like she even put any effort in
