    Linear or BBGB?

I have had a look at the baby got back way of setting up a program and like the mix of heavy low reps plus slightly higher rep accessory work.

Out of a 4 day split like BBGB and a linear progress 3 day split like 5x5 which would forum members here recommend. Im guessing it will depend on goals and experience?

    Cheers!

    There ya' go!

I tend to oscillate amonst a few splits; BGB is one of my "bread and butter" splits I come back to again and again. I wrote it for myself - borrowing from the best people I had read at the time (Ian King, Christian Thibaudeau, Charles Poliquin to name a few). But I could hardly feel slighted if you chose to start with Rippetoe!
Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

Think you're ready for the "next step"? Take this test.

To me it doesn't really matter. If you work hard you'll make progress within either program.
