Trying to lose weight, but travel a lot

Hey i am new to this site but not new to working out. I am 5'10" and weigh about 220. I am trying to get down to 190 and tone up a lot. I have the strength and size, i am just trying to slim down and get a better physique. I have a gym membership and i go whenever i am at home, but i travel a lot so when i am out traveling i am limited to stuff i can do in my room...some treadmill or eliptical and limited weights. Also the food and calorie counting is limited too. I have to pretty much eat what is put out for me. i try to stay healthy as much as possible, but sometimes that just isnt an option so i just eat less. is there any supplements or routines that some people may know to keep my body going while i travel or supplements that can keep my body in a state of burning fat? thanks for the help.

real food is always best.... but if something really unhealthy is put in front of you are you able to buy some thing else on your own???... or pack a few packaged meal replacement drinks i your suitcase for such times ??
it sounds like you are doing pretty ok with the exercise and know when its not the ideal situation the key is to just be moving and lifting and doing whatever you can!!! here is a great site to give ideas though http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/home.html
diet is most of it however so really try to pick the healthy options and when none are there reach out to another source or mix a drink from a pouch you packed for such an emergency

When I travel for work (couple times a year), I'll hook up with local cyclists and go for rides, or I'll just go running outside. I'll also make it a point to stay in hotels that have nicer workout rooms or are adjacent to gyms. Most gyms will sell you a day pass. I hear you on the food though. Sometimes it's tough to eat healthy when traveling. I'll just eat less...a lot less.

Best hotel gym I ever saw was at the Watergate Hotel in DC.

exercise only expedites the fat loss process. if you follow a low calorie low GI diet when you are on the road that's pretty much all you can do. personally I consume carbs according to my level of activity for that day, the sedentary individual simply does not need a high carbohydrate intake since free fatty acids are the main energy source used by the body at rest.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
