Hey fellas.
Another question.....
On Sat i went to a b/b comp and i thought one of the things that let most of the guys down (i thought) was their calves...
I have heard guys talking about working top and bottom, and inner and outer. Is this possible?? someone said something about pointing your heels in or out?? Are there more calf workouts that i should be doing??
Talk to me about getting some great calves guys!!!
I have been doing the following variations:
Toe press on 45* leg press
Seated calf machine
Standing calf machine
Barbell toe raises
You should try training calves unilaterally every now and again. Also, vary your foot width somewhat from set to set as well as toes pointed out, straight ahead, and slightly inward. Each variation will recruit the calves somewhat differently.
