    5/3/1... 3 or 4 days a week?

I've always trained 4+ days per week, but I've recently gotten educated on how important recovery is. I'm now going to start a run on the 5/3/1 training. So I was wondering what your thoughts on M/W/F or M/T/Th/F? I've basically never trained on weekends (Sat & Sun) and it will be strange for me to only train M/W/F, but I think I may need to do this to recover from squats before Deads...

    Any thoughts?

Either way is fine. I do 5/3/1 three times a week and let the wave "run on" into the following week.

I currently do 4 days per week. I hit each body part once per week. Recovery is important. I was doing each body part about twice per week for a while and was overtraining.

I do 3 times a week too (Sun, Tues, Thurs for me). In the middle of my second wave, beating max reps every time so far. I like this method a lot - its easy to stay motivated when you're seeing measurable gains in strength
