Does it matter? Why compare yourself to other people? If you're lifting more than you did before, thats whats important. Unless you're actively competing in a strength sport it's not important what other people do.

Doesn't look too bad. You're benching more than 1.5x your bw and squating more than 3x your bw. If you can bench 2 x your bw and squat and dead 4 x your bw, then you're doing better than a large percentage of lifters. That's a pretty good squat for 140 lbs though. Nice job.

I just thought it would be helpful to know if I needed to improve on a lift compared to my others. Just curious. I'm sincerely sorry if this is taboo on this forum.

Not taboo-I think Gaz was just pointing out that making consistent gains is more important that comparing yourself to others. Sometimes people get hung up on what other people are doing in the gym, and it can negatively affect your training. You are really only competing with yourself. That being said, your numbers are very good, especially for your weight and age, and the fact that you have only been training for a year.

Sage advice. The older I get the more I come to realize this is a competition with myself. If you are making progress then you're on the right track, if gains in strength slow down or stop then you'll need to consider putting on some lbs.

Great progress for your age. Keep it up! Stay off the juice and develop a solid base. You'll do really well if you keep going.

yo to powerclean 235 at 140 pounds is pretty impressive to me but more so due to the fact you havent been doing it but for a year. just getting the technique good takes a couple of months for most beginners. my personal best when i played ball was around 250 if i remember correctly but i was 180 pounds. i respect power cleaners, cleanin is an athletic-ass movement
