I hate any straight bar curls. They hurt my wrists and forearm. Preacher curls are starting to piss me off too. I feel like my arms get hyper extended when I go all the way down. I like standing DB curls, Standing EZ Bar curls, High cable curls.
You really think 4sec on the negative though? That's kinda steep. I always like to finish with negatives on the preacher machine. Up with 2 down with one.
