    looking for some help

    I need to get my butt back into shape again. I have let myself go and now am 228lbs at 5'9". Not really sure on what I need to do to get the best results, the right way, too.
    I have been tracking my food intake for the last 4 days:
    calories eaten = 2250-2325
    fat = 32-34
    carbs = 293-320
    protein = 184-202

    I just started working out again on monday and it seems as of now that the early morning is my only available time frame to work out in. I have been reading up on HIIT and would love to do that rather than run for 30-60min. Just bought a good jump rope today actually. I have two a set of dumbbells that go to 25lbs and some resistant bands and not a lot of money to get other stuff, yet.

    Just need some help and some guidance

    Thanks guys,

    Billy J

    Okay - I'd suggest upping your fats and dropping your carbs down to better support testosterone production - and to better suppress hunger.

    At 5'9", 230 lbs is a bit too juicy for HIIT or skipping. I'd stick to walking and cycling for your cardio for now - otherwise, you'll just trash your joints and besides, cardio doesn't burn that many calories. You're on the right track by looking at your diet.

    Do you have access to a gym anywhere - community centre, maybe?
    Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

    Think you're ready for the "next step"? Take this test.
