i think the size difference is really from your form.....i know mine are slightly different and it's due to a shoulder injury and elbow tendonitis where i can't move my arm on the same plane/angle as my other side......one thing that's helped me is adding DC stretches or Parillo stretches......

This. It's definitely your form. You need to figure out exactly what youre doing wrong; perhaps get someone experienced to watch you and figure it out since you can't really examine yourself closely while doing heavy weight unless you have a camera, which may or may not be at the correct angle to capture your flaw(s).

Yeah, most definitely get someone to come with you to the gym for a workout.
I brought my brother the other day and he pointed out that I had an imbalance when doing DB flyes and also my DB shoulder presses were a little bit too far back and I couldnt tell from looking in the mirror.

Glad he was there to help.

Most likely to do with your natural body shape/genetics. There are very few people who are completely symmetrical. Im pretty lopsided myself, unfortunately theres not a lot you can do about it except add more overall size.

If you're worried about it just from a casual training perspective don't lose any sleep over it - you're probably the only one who will ever notice. If you're looking to compete in bodybuilding, theres a lot to be said for your posing skills' ability to cover this sort of thing up.

I agree with the injury and tendonitis. One of my training partners has the same issue. He has been working with a therapist to correct his form with massage and stretching. It had helped and he is feeling and seeing a difference. Try seated one arm cable rows as a point specific exercise.

You haven't said how long you've been lifting either. Generally the problem in form develops because one side has always been stronger. One side will always be dominant. If this is the case in your situation (Which I'm sure it is) you would get more out of single side isolation moves as opposed to adjusting your form on whatever movements you are doing now. To adjust form you will have to drop the weight down as your weak side can't hang with your dominant side.

What you will probably notice if you switch over to isolation movements is the amount of weight you can move goes down on both sides. While your dominant side is much stronger, it is generally less coordinated without the use of your other side and vice versa. I would go to single side isolation movements for a while and then switch back to compound movements.

muscles can attach at different locations on one side of the body as compared to the other. if you have "high" lats the potential for growth is less
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
