    Any advise welcome

    Well here's my routine,

    Day 1- Chest and Trieps
    Day 2- Bieceps and Traps
    Day 3- Back and Delts
    Day 4- Quads and Forearms
    Repeat

I try not to take any days off unless I need to, I know that people say that you need to take days off but that has never worked for me...

When i start feeling my muscles being over worked i will change to a 5 day routine.

I am 5'7 and weight 183 pounds,,, 6 months ago i was at my heaviest weighting a bit over 220 (fat) i took 4 years off the gym because of work but finally got back into it. I am pretty happy with my results so far but i am looking for better and quicker results.

I am planning on doing a cycle of Decca, Dbol and Sustan but i am looking for advise because i dont have much experance with steroids. I dont want to gain fat but want to gain size in the muscle without the fat.

    Any advise will be apperciated..

    Thanks,

Thats not a program, thats a list of bodyparts and days of the week. What exercises do you do? How many sets? What rep range? Hows is this program periodized (if at all)? Right now thats not enough info to go on.

I will say right now that rest is probably more important than training - you don't grow when you're working out in the gym, you grow when you're vegging out on the couch stuffing your face with food. You'll stall pretty quick if you aren't taking regular rest days. One day rest to every workout day in a week is a good rule of thumb. Any less than three rest days a week is seriously pushing it.

Its not about muscles. Your muscles don't regulate their own individual growth. Growth happens as an overall systemic response by your body as a unit. If you tire out that unit your performance will drop.

    Take more rest.

But yeah, post up more info because thats all i can do with what you've provided, lol.

Thanks for the quick reply guys, but i am actually looking for advice from people here that have results.... I see alot of guys in the gym that come in a few times a week and month after month dont get results...

Not to sound over confident,, my lifts and results are pretty impresive for a ametur. I understand the rest theroy, and have tried it with negative results in the past.

I also know that everyone's body is different and what works for one person doesnt work for another....

I try and keep it pretty simple, i work out for about an hour a day and try to keep it split 40 minutes (16-24 sets) for a major muscle group and 20 minutes (12-20 sets)for a smaller muscle group.

24 sets is too many for any body part

You are saying that you are the exception to the rule, and you dont need rest. Since you can beat the laws of the earth then you can probably figure all this ahit out on your own.

Dont ask questions and then when somebody gives you the correct answer say it dosent apply to you. Jerkoff. You think these people make this shit up on the fly.

I don't endorse the way Work In Progress phrased that post, but the sentiment was correct at least.

A relationship between rest and recovery isn't a theory, its not a hypothesis, it is an absolute biological certainty. If you don't rest, you will stall. Whatever you think about your own capabilities, you will get better results across the board if you take regular quality rest.

I don't know what your criteria is for quantifying results, i don't know what basis you have for saying you do fine without rest.

What i do know is that you've gotten good results in your first 6 months of training after a four year layoff. In no way devaluing what is impressive effort and results on your part (well done, seriously) but this is a grace period, man.

When i started training at 15 i trained 7 days a week, sometimes twice a day, and it didn't phase me. A year of this sorta shit nearly landed me in hospital with a virus that wrecked my bowels and made me lose 40lbs. Severe overtraining caught up with me and my immune system was practically nonexistent.

If i tried to pull that shit now, i would be dead in about 3 months.

Take the recuperation, shit, rest for two days between workouts. Rest so much that you can't sit still when your next workout day rolls around. I want you breaking the doors down because you're so fresh and ready to train. That intensity will lead to a greater training stimulus, and the increase rest will create even better results again.

This isn't conjecture, opinion, or bro-speak. This is real life.

Why are you considering steroids anyway? After 6 months training you have years of solid training before you're even nearly ready for AAS. The only reason i can think of for you wanting to use them is because you aren't getting results as steadily as you have been so far. Theres a pretty obvious reason for this if that is the case...

I was just looking for better results than i got in the past. Like I said earlier, i understand rest is needed and trust me, when my body needs it i will take it as needed.

All i am here for is advise, not to be attacked. Trust me, I here you and appericate your time to write me.

I dont have much experiance with steroids at all, besides taking D-bol, for about 6 weeks 8 years ago and i loved the results that i got but if i do it again, i want to get huge.

you seem not to understand what Gaz was trying to tell you. you can be fine and train like an animal for a long time but in a blink of an eye your body shuts down. it might not happen tomorrow and maybe not before christmas but guess what... it will happen so think twice before you post a "how do i train with a shoulder injury" thread. I hope you come around before you hurt yourself.

now on the other hand, if in 5 years from now you are still training like this and making gains and feeling fresh i would appreciate if you could impregnate my wife. man do i want a superman baby.
