Lockout portion of your bench and push ups is another way to train them. Our strength coaches used to have our lineman perform exercises called pushup "plus" where you would lockout your pushup and then try to exaggerate it even further to work the serratus.
Could also start training on a heavy bag for example, 2-3 times a week. I have just started heavy bag interval training instead of treadmill cardio. Will let you know how it goes...
