    Best Body Fat Monitor

Do those hand held things actually work? Or are they a waste of money? Calipers better? Thoughts...

The mirror is about as accurate.

If you want to put a number on your bodyfat percentage, invest the hundred bucks and get a DEXA scan.

    worthless, waste of money.

I dont even know if skinfolds are accurate either. Anyone know about the flexible measuring rulers that you wrap around your bicep, tricep, waist, quads, calves, etc? and then putting the numbers into an online calculator, which will then calculate your bodyfat?

Callipers are the most accurate, but only if the person using them is trained in using them. Electrical impedance machines are really dependent on body composition and hydration and stuff before you even get to individual variation between models.

I'd use the mirror and the scales like Marat said.
