lunges

when i do dumbell lunges, i do them one leg at a time. now, when im done with leg, i barely have energy to do the other. should i take a break between legs?

Not sure if others do this, but I usually make a 'circuit' around the gym each set, alternating legs as I go. I feel that standing in place while lunging is just to clutzy for me [or me for it, but anywho].

Just my two cents.

Walking lunges will allow for a pause between legs. I do 3 sets of walking lunges across the floor and take a 20-30 second rest between sets.

i use 2 methods, one in the smith machine and as mentioned before walking lunges.
