I have a fair bit of cellulite on the back of my thighs and butt and I'm looking for the most effective way to eliminate this. I have a very busy schedule so something I could do while I'm at home or on the go would be AWESOME but I'm open to any suggestions. I want to nip this in the butt, pun intended

The idiom is actually "nip it in the bud", not butt. "Budde" works too.
Anyway, there isn't any quick and fast option. The solution lies within a proper diet and weightlifting-based regimen. Check out the link in my signature for details.

Cardio and squats!!!!!!!!!! Running will help burn some fat and squats will help tone your buttMake sure your diet is in check as well.

Marat is right; animalhouse is wrong. And if you've been fat for a long time, sub-q fat can settle into loose skin in a very permanent way. Lipo, growth hormone and laser/ultrasound skin tightening procedures would be the only ways to really tackle whatever remains once you get down below say 15% bodyfat - and that part, my dear, is diet.
I have it too. Being fat sucks - it causes permanent damage to your body.
Good luck.
PS if you're on the Pill, get off of it, now.

Running will burn calories, and squatting makes your legs and butt stronger, but if you don't run a deficit you don't drop weight and if you run too much you can end up skinny-fat. Running can also overstimulate appetite, and if you run while gaining weight it PILES onto your legs as the body stores more and more fat near the working muscles. And if you run while you're still quite heavy, you can cause your body a lot of grief from the heavy pounding as your feet hit the road.
ANIMALHOUSE, I may have been too quick to judge though - if she's not VERY heavy, not dieting too hard (but IS dieting) and not doing too much running she'll be fine. Not the method I'd chose, but I'm lazy. The friend you are helping - she's not very heavy to start with - just needed to tighten up a bit?

There we go - she was pretty close to goal. Lemme know if she had any trouble maintaining the loss. And yes, they're mine - at least, they were a few years ago. I don't stay that lean year round, but you can always seem 'em.
