I hate to admit this but I just recently added pull ups and chin ups to my routine.
Heres my problem, I can do pull ups with no problem but when I do chins the inside of my elbows kill me. I have this same problem with a straight bar curls. Most of us know the difference between good pain and bad and I mean this is bang your head in the wall bad. Any ideas out there? |

Prince is right ... The elbow tendons will have some small infections on them. This is very likely to happen when you get overtrained (or put to much sport on the side into your combo, such as squash...).
Consult a doctor, some mild anti-inflamatory medication will get rid of this in 1-2 weeks. !! Never let any doctor talk you into using corticoïds, here me ? |

well i had something like that it was tennis elbow that is what i would go get it checked out by someone bc it may come back sometime when you are going to bench 200+ pounds and your elbow hurts and it falls on you.
what happened to be i was holding up a part of a row and my elbow just gave out on my it really sucked ------------------ a heathly body is a heathly mind |

try warming up your elbow and arm joints, i know have problems like that if i dont warm up my hips even before my warm up set of squats. try doing some shadow boxing for a minute and the stretch a little before doing the chins.
if it hurts to bad dont do it. i know, get it looked at maybe. i never go to the doc i give my body about 2 months to heal everytime i seriously fuck something up in my hands and wrists. if it hurts for longer then 3 weeks with rest get it x-rayed. it could be a little more then just "another injury". |
