The standing overhead press - how much you use it in your training?

Great exercise. One of the basics.
Once a week. Always standing. I alternate between strict and push presses.
Great I was thinking of replacing the seated shoulder press with the standing variant.

Rarely standing. Always sitting and with a barbell because it allows me to use more weight. Then I do seated DB overhead press, palms facing in at bottom and out at the top.
Do what works for you after trial and error.
Dont know how much is true but I read an article in the internet which said that doing Overhead press will help in hair growth.
I do standing bb overhead once a week. I start at 135lbs and go up from there reducing reps each time. I finished at 185lbs x 2 last week.

I would love to know if standing or seated are a better option. I see all the Pro BBs doing shoulder presses on the smith machine. You can push a lot bigger weight when you dont have to worry about balance.
Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder but dont nobody wanna lift this heavy ass weight. R.C.
5.Don't eat right before bed.The body releases the greatest amount of growth hormone during the first two hours of sleep. Eating a large meal right before bed, especially starchy carbohydrates, will create an insulin peak and suppress this higher output of growth hormone, preventing your body from taking advantages of it as you rest.
Just read this on the website linked above.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but is there any truth to this? And if there is, are the effects worth worrying about?
To me, standing military hits delts and core and stabilizers, and I really feel it in my abs. Seated military hits delts a lot more and not much else. Smith machine would take balance and other stabilizers out and hit delts even more, I think, but I have never used one because I don't have a vagina.
I work my core, abs, etc.. by themself and use seated miltary to hit my delts harder.

lol. I love vaginas.

I only do seated overhead presses. Standing puts too much strain on the lower back.

WHEN I STARTED GOING HEAVIER WITH PUSH PRESSES(STRICTER ON WARM UPS PYRAMIDDING) OOPS C.L. my Bench went up. i do them and then follow with dumbells strict on Delts day when i'm lookin for more. i like barbell incline seated front raises also for this same reason when upping my bench cycle.

I love the standing military press. I only do it standing and do my overhead presses with dumbbells. With barbell, always infront of chest, never behind neck and typically immediately after i bench. Perfect weight is reppin 60
