
is it ok to do HIIT cardio as a warmup to your weight lifting. I thought of that and I read that HIIT cardio could be a workout by itself but if I do 4 sets of 1 minute sprints around the track would tht be a good warmup..Im looking to burn bodyfat and i heard HIIT was the best way to go..so the question is should i do it as a warmup or on seperate days?
jogging for 4 or 5 mins would be a good warm up but I would not go into sprints (as your body is not warm for it!!! ) I would do as follows
jog 5 mins
lift
then either run sprints for 15 to 20 mins or steady state for 30 -40 mins

Also a good warmup is using foam rollers. Have you used them before. Hows your flexibility. Do you have any preexisting injuries. This would help to give me an idea so I can recommend some dynamic warmup exercises for you.
