    1-legged squats

Has anyone tried these? I did them the other day and they were killer. It was hard to balance for 12 reps a side and you have to be sure to push with your heels. I reccommend to anyone who wants a serious leg burn. Oh, and no cheating by holding on to something.

If i were going to do legs single legged, I'd reccomend leg extensions and leg presses. Single legged squates I'd be worried about twisting the lower back by accident or something.

Give em a try. They are not too dangerous as long as you are not a clutz and you push with yur heels.

I've done them on the smith, they are a killer just like one legged leg press.
I've only done light weight at 15 rep sets, to scared to go to heavy.
    Cool

I tried them with no weight, hands on hips and went deep. It will take me a while before I attempt any weight. I may intersperse them with 1-legged hack squats on the smith.

I would be concerned about the uneven load on my back.

Could we see some video footage?
I'm pretty sure it'd make a great "America's funniest home video"

Next exercise: doing a plissé (don't forget the tutu!)

That seems hard as hell! I can't even do the one-legged press correctly!

I'm with dvlmn666, I feel a lot more comfortable with the leg extension and I actually love doing these.

    Good call!
