If in a hurry: cardio, lifting or a little of both?

I'm currently trying to cut with good results thanks to everybody in the forum. I'm following Built's advice, doing a Push-Pull routine 3 times a week (40 minutes) and then cardio (20 minutes).
But sometimes I only have 30-40 minutes for the whole thing. Should I do just the lifting, 20-20, or all cardio?

Superset your workouts with less then a minute rest between each superset, that will also keep your heartrate up just like cardio. 20 min tops

For cardio, HIIT, if you don't know what that is its High Intensity Interval Training. Research on HIIT for details.. All you need is 15-20 min tops!

Total= 40 min workout.. ITS ALL ABOUT INTENSITY!

Sounds like a recipe to lose a bunch of muscle mass.

If you're pressed for time, go with the lifting.

if you only have like 30 min total, come back later that day to finish..or if you need to finish cardio, go outside and do a little running

Sounds great, then. I love lifting, and I'm not so crazy about cardio ;-)
