    I had a trainer teach me some workouts

    he said It is all about the mental moving the weights slow I have one set last about 5 mins and let me teel you that is the most pain full 5 mins i have ever been through. I just did traps with him on my off day i had nothing better to do so i went to the gym and WOW did he work my traps I put some weight on strapped in and went for a full 2 minutes as many as you can go that was the first set then drop the weight and hit about 20 out and keep gooing down on weight until your durnt. It was a great work out i felt good afterwards.

    With things like Traps and calves, IMAO slow is better, holding it at the top and then slowly down on the negative is the best way to go.

    Especially with power movements such as Shrugs, you're definately
    better off doing them s-l-o-w-l-y, because otherwise you'll end up
    going through your knees to get level with the weight ..

    (I've seen barbell shrugs morph to toe-standing cleans within the same set:
    it's not a pretty sight ..)
