I don't mean to disrespect it I just don't do it ever. I used it to max out in high school to make the 1000 lb club, but our routine never did true deadlifts. Just powercleans. I've been doing them for the past few years since I stopped playing football once a week or 3 weeks a month with the straight bar. I guess it could be utilized as a hack squat kind of movement though.
have had to use one for the last month or so as a replacement for squat my gym is in the process of getting a new power rack. haven't had a problem with them being unsafe, but not something i will probably ever use again after we get the new power rack either
Used one for years when i was in football always felt good, not all bars are the same. Do u have discomfort while using?
I actually like the feeling. Just wanted to be sure that I'm not going to fuck myself you know? I have noticed that it is easier to work on form with the hex bar (as how the back should be arched instead of a hump).
the trap bar is for pussies. that's all there is to it.
I was originally using the trap bar for heavy shrugs, as the dumbbells here in afghanistan doesn't surpass 150lbs. Was too lazy to remove the weights so i just went ahead and tried out "how it would feel" doin deadlifts with the trap bar. lol
I watched a documentary on bodybuilding in afghanistan called Afghan Muscles. I have a lot of respect for you sticking to BBing in that country. I still don't like the trap bar though lol.

Sucks to BB here because our food is shit lol.
I'm gonna switch back to the barbell and just work on form. sticking with trap bar for shrugs tho. love the feeling. she's like the cheap prostitute who makes you meet your goals faster lol.
